About Inger Garvais

Inger grew up in a small town in Norway. She started playing the piano, singing, and writing songs at a young age. Getting involved in music at her home church, she later went on to study classical music in college. She now lives in the Rocky Mountains with her husband.

Having a passion for acoustic, unplugged music that stirs the soul with its natural, raw beauty, inspired Inger to record the album Seasons. The album has classical undertones with the piano, acoustic guitar, upright bass, cello, violin, and viola as background instruments. She wanted to go back to basics with this album. To worship in a raw, acoustic, space, letting the instruments and melodies move the listener, while the lyrics speak of a God who brings wholeness and peace.

Inger wrote the songs on this album over several years as she started realizing and appreciating the seasons of life we all go through. She wanted to offer a collection of songs that would have a comfortable feel in many diverse places because God is with us regardless of where we are! More than anything, she longs for her music to be spiritually uplifting and move people to intimacy with God. Her prayer is that the listener will experience God’s immense love through the songs and the music.
